Originally created by THEM, 2003?
Revised by Christy, 2006

Goals

To promote computer literacy through presentations, handouts, and tutorials.
This course is designed to teach the ins and outs of getting to know your computer.

Description

You've been using your computer for a while; writing letters, sending email and now you want to customize it for you!  Learn how to change the screen saver, background, sounds, desktop icons, and start menu!  Computer safety and security will also be discussed, including how to protect your computer from viruses.  Backup your data and create an emergency startup disk, just in case.  Maintain your computer; make it efficient and customize it to your tastes.
