Sectional 4-H Youth Conferences

Each of the four sections of California has an annual teen conference. These conferences have fun recreation and social activities to allow 4-H members to network with those outside their region, while also engaging in many learning opportunities and workshops on topics such as leadership, public speaking, citizenship, and more.

The Leadership Team for CAL Conference 2010 is selected from a pool of applicants who are considered on the basis of a written application, a letter of recommendation from a 4-H leader, and the completion of a formal interview.  Members of the CAL Conference Leadership Team meet regularly during the year, even in the summer, to prepare for the Conference. Please realize the commitment you make when you apply to be part of this dynamic team.

C.A.L. is a sectional 4-H event and members from all North Central Section counties are encouraged to attend. Participants share their knowledge, exchange ideas and information, and have the chance to develop and enhance their leadership skills. Each attendee is expected to participate fully.


South Central: Leadership Conference of Regional Teens (LCORT)

For counties: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Stanislaus, Tuolumne.

To define and develop your leadership abilities.  To have an opportunity to meet and share ideas with other youth your age.  To expand your perspective on the world around you and to have an enjoyable time.
